You must load into the game as Richtofen and be playing on Cursed mode tier 2 or higher.
Note: Straight away I want to mention that as of the time this is being written save quitting can break this process at multiple points so I would recommend doing this all in one go.

You must collect 3 parts which are: The radio, the helmet, and Mr. Peeks. These can be collected in any order.
The Radio: To get the radio, open the secret lab on Fishery Island with an ARC-XD and complete the puzzle to open the jail cell door (If you do not know how to do this, it would be easier to look up a visual guide online). Once the cell door is open, go prone and under the left side of the bench you will be able to pick up a small handheld radio.
The Helmet: Use the ejection tubes out of Tyr's head until you are teleported to the room with the dead requiem crew sitting around a table. In this room there will be a set of 3 shelves and the middle shelf will have a point turret on it. Go to the shelf that is left of the one containing the point turret and crouch then look at the very bottom of that shelf unit and on top of a box will be an old helmet you can pick up.
Mr. Peeks: Use the ejection tubes out of Tyr's head until you are teleported to a bedroom. Go prone to the right side of the bed as close to the nightstand as possible and you will see Mr. Peeks underneath the bed leaning against the nightstand to pick up.
Note: Teleporting to the 2 areas for the helmet and Mr. Peeks is completely random. You can use the ejections tubes twice per round if you enter Tyr's head once through the foot and once through the shoulder each round.

Once you have all 3 parts, progress to at least Round 15 and ensure you have the Jotunn Star wonder weapon as well as Melee Macchiato.
Go to the Core Foundry and there is a barrel (with a white stripe across the middle) to the left of the Mystery Box location. Melee the top of this barrel and it will pop open. Hold interact on the inside of the barrel to reveal an object and then pick it up. This will teleport you to the Richtofen side EE. Progress this EE until you see the Von List ghost appear sitting in the chair. Once Von List is done talking and the ghost disappears out of the chair, hold interact on the chair to place Mr. Peeks with your objects onto the chair. Once done you will hear the Mr. Peeks laugh meaning the trial portal is open.
Note: If you got the Jotunn Star on round 15 or higher you may need to progress to the next round to be able to open the barrel.

The relic portal is located in the Dry Dock on the upper area near PHD.
The trial challenge is "Zombies can only be damaged when the player is Indoors."
Survive all waves and you will unlock the relic.
Note: Though this trial can be done as early as round 15 (They may or may not change this to round 60 minimum later) the zombies in the trial will be equivalent to round 60 zombies so go in very well prepared with max rarity, pap, good equipment, etc.
